If you could travel anywhere, money aside, where would you go?

I would love to go out West and then travel back up through Montana and The Dakotas.

What is a fun fact about you?

I always have a song in my head and love to sing!

How would you describe your job?

I have always been blessed to be able to say that I love my job, no matter what position I was working in at the time. I have held many positions at Riverside over the years starting in Early Intervention, the preschool, Summer Enrichment, a workshop specialist at RT, to my present position now.

All of these jobs have allowed me to work directly with our individuals and their families. I have learned a lot from each position. Presently, my job allows me to help people get out in their community and enjoy it to the fullest. That includes recreation activities, sports training and helping them with learning to navigate their neighborhoods safely on foot, bike or Transit Service.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

I love the personal relationships that I've formed with people and their families. I love seeing the excitement and joy on faces as they run down a basketball, soccer or football field. I love being able to help folks learn and accomplish things they want to do.

It has been a special blessing to have worked with some people when they were a small child and now be able to reconnect with them in their young adult years and see their growth and accomplishments.
