When you work at Riverside, you are more than an employee, you are family. Every member of our team contributes to the success of those we serve, and they play a key role in ensuring we stay true to our mission.
Our team also extends beyond Riverside, the County Board. Our network of provider partners are a crucial part of our agency and the services we provide. These agencies provide adult day services, job training and support, in-home care and transportation.
Whether you would like to work for Riverside or one of our provider partners, we invite you to learn more about us, our services and the people we serve. If you have questions or would like additional information, please contact us.

Who We Are
We are here to serve others, and we strive to set the bar for friendliness, compassion and kindness. As an agency, we have 4 key values.
We demonstrate honesty, build trust and do the right thing--even when no one is watching.
We strive for excellence, demonstrate transparency in everything we do, follow through with commitments and assume responsibility for our actions--personally and as an organization.
We treat each other with kindness and acceptance, value others' opinions even when they are different from our own and support everyone's abilities and contributions.
We provide support to one another, work cooperatively without boundaries and make our work environment fun and enjoyable.
Why do you love Riverside?
"It is a privilege to be a part of an organization that truly values and serves people. I enjoy coming to work every day to be an active part of creating positive change."
--Jessica Knupp, SSA Director

At Riverside, we are dedicated to providing a safe, welcoming environment that contributes to our employees' physical, mental and emotional health. We also understand the importance of family, so we offer flexible work schedules for all our employees.
Service & Support Administration
A Service & Support Administrator (SSA), also called a Service Coordinator or Case Manager, works with people we serve and their families or caregivers to provide them with the resources and support they need to ensure each person has the opportunity to live, work and play as full members of our community.
Early Intervention (EI) is a statewide system providing coordinated services to young children with disabilities and their families.
EI is a home and community-based collaboration where the family and our EI team work together to provide ongoing support for the child. A family's EI team will include a Riverside service coordinator and team of providers who work with the family in their home or other places where they spend their time.
Community Awareness & Opportunities
Our Community Awareness & Opportunities Department (CAO) supports our mission to empower people with developmental disabilities to live, work and play as full members of our community by building: awareness, acceptance and opportunities.
The CAO team accomplishes this purpose through avenues including employment navigation, social activities, Special Olympics and advocacy training for the people we serve. They also coordinate the agency's marketing, fundraising and community relations.
