Department Spotlight

  • Service & Support Administration

    The Service & Support Administration coordinates services for all people ages 3 and over with developmental disabilities who are eligible to receive Riverside services.

    A Service & Support Administrator (SSA), also called a Service Coordinator or Case Manager, works with people we serve and their families or caregivers to provide them with the resources and support they need to ensure each person has the opportunity to live, work and play as full members of our community.

  • Early Intervention

    Early Intervention (EI) is a statewide system providing coordinated services to young children with disabilities and their families.

    EI is a home and community-based collaboration where the family and our EI team work together to provide ongoing support for the child. A family's EI team will include a Riverside service coordinator and team of providers who work with the family in their home or other places where they spend their time.

  • Community Awareness & Opportunities

    Our Community Awareness & Opportunities Department (CAO) supports our mission to empower people with developmental disabilities to live, work and play as full members of our community by building: awareness, acceptance and opportunities.

     

    The CAO team accomplishes this purpose through avenues including employment navigation, social activities, Special Olympics and advocacy training for the people we serve. They also coordinate the agency's marketing, fundraising and community relations.
