Formerly the RecZone, this newsletter gives information about upcoming events, activities and programs through Riverside's Community Connections Department, including Miami County Special Olympics. These activities promote the emotional, physical and social health of the people we serve and encourage independence, inclusion and friendship. To view previous editions of the Community Connections Newsletter, please visit our Archives page.
The FANS Newsletter provides monthly updates, highlighting Riverside's volunteers and sharing current opportunities for community members to get involved. FANS (Friends, Allies & Neighbors) program gives people of all ages to connect with their friends with developmental disabilities. Opportunities include event assistants, Special Olympics coaches, item donations and create your own experience.
