The Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD) Family Forum is a Facebook group where Ohio families can talk about resources, programs and ideas that their family uses to successfully support someone with a disability.

The Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities supports families of people with developmental disabilities in Ohio through their online resource hub featuring information about Family Advisory Council, #FamilyTalk and more.

The Family Resource Network of Ohio (FRNO) is a website where families visit to discover various types of resources, including: listings for agencies and providers, therapists, books, webinars, programs, calendar of events and various trainings.

From the Ohio Developmental Disabilities Council, this book offers a comprehensive overview of guardianship and alternatives in Ohio in a question and answer format. 

Insure Kids

This website provides facts about Medicaid and the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP). It also shares links to each state’s insurance program for children, how to apply and what services are covered.

The Ohio Center for Autism and Low Incidence (OCALI) Family and Community Outreach Center equips and empowers families with knowledge, information and resources to support the whole family, including the person with a disability.

The mission of the Ohio DD Council is to create change that improves independence, productivity and inclusion for people with developmental disabilities and their families in community life in Ohio.

Ohio Family and Children First (OFCF)

A partnership of state and local government, communities and families that enhances the well-being of Ohio’s children and families by building community capacity, coordinating systems and services, and engaging families.

The mission of Ohio Special Initiatives by Brothers and Sisters (SIBS) is to be recognized as the unified voice and partner for Ohio adult siblings of people with developmental disabilities and their families.

Sibling Leadership Network

The mission of the Sibling Leadership Network is to provide siblings of individuals with disabilities the information, support and tools to advocate with their brothers and sisters and to promote the issues important to them and their entire families.

Sibling Support Project

Founded in 1990, the Sibling Support Project is the first national program dedicated to the life-long and ever-changing concerns of millions of brothers and sisters of people with special health, developmental and mental health concerns.  

State support team expands leadership teams to add specially trained educator experts to work on the efforts being made to improve climate and learning outcomes for all students. 

The Arc

The Arc is the largest national community-based organization advocating for and serving people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families.
